Camp Claude Safety Competition Terms and Conditions

  1. WorkSafe New Zealand ('WorkSafe') has partnered with the LPG Association of New Zealand to give away three Horizon 3410 4 Burner BBQs (the 'Competition').
  2. The Competition is subject to the following terms and conditions. Entry into the promotion is deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  3. Entry is only open to New Zealand residents 18 years and older. Employees (and such employees’ immediate families) of WorkSafe or the LPG Association of New Zealand are not eligible for entry. WorkSafe may require proof of eligibility.
  4. The Competition runs from 10am 27 November 2017 to 12 am Sunday 17 December 2017(NZDT). No late entries will be accepted.
  5. To enter into the Competition an entrant must identify the five gas and electricity hazards/risks that WorkSafe has placed in the Competition image.
  6. Route to entry for the Competition (which is being run through Facebook) and details of how to can be found at https://www.facebook.com/nzworksafe/(external link). If you need help identifying the hazards/risks you may find www.worksafe.govt.nz/topic-and-industry/energy-safety/ helpful.
  7. Only one entry will be accepted per person. Any additional entry made by a person will not be eligible for inclusion in the draw. Any entrant who identifies all of the five hazards/risks that WorkSafe has placed in the Competition image, will be placed into a draw. WorkSafe will then randomly draw three winners at 10 am on Monday 18 December 2017 from the entrants which have been placed in the draw.
  8. Winners will initially be notified via Facebook by 3pm on 18 December 2017 and will be asked to provide their full contact details, phone, email and delivery address through Facebook Messenger. Failure to respond to such a message or provide all requested personal information within 3 days may result in the entry being invalid and a new winner being drawn.
  9. In accordance with the Privacy Act 1993, WorkSafe collects and holds personal information to conduct the Competition, to notify prize winners and verify prize winners’ identities, and for publicity purposes relating to the Competition and WorkSafe's summer energy safety campaign.

    By entering into the Competition, each entrant agrees that WorkSafe may collect and hold personal information for these purposes including, if he or she wins a prize, publishing his or her Facebook details (including name, suburb/town, and photo) on WorkSafe’s own Facebook page, on WorkSafe's website and in print material published by WorkSafe relating to the Competition or WorkSafe's summer energy safety campaign.

    WorkSafe will at all times comply with its Privacy Policy. Individuals have rights to access and request correction of their personal information held by WorkSafe New Zealand by calling WorkSafe on 04 901 8633.
  10. There are three identical Horizon 3410 4 Burner BBQ prizes to be given away which the LPG Association of New Zealand will ship to the successful entrants. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable.
  11. The Competition reserves the right to vary the terms, and to modify, terminate or reschedule the Competition, and to substitute any of the prizes for a similar prize of the same value.
  12. WorkSafe is not liable for any loss, damage or injury (including and without limitation any indirect or consequential loss) suffered by any person in connection with the Competition and or the prize, except for any liability under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
