Proposed Safe Work Instruments - Stationary container systems and cylinder design standards
We are consulting on two proposed Safe Work Instruments (SWIs) to support the Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017 (the Regulations).
The two proposed SWIs are:
Purpose of the proposed Safe Work Instruments
The proposed SWIs are required to:
- specify alternative validity periods of compliance certificates for stationary container systems; and
- specify additional design standards for refillable cylinders.
Your submissions will help us determine whether to specify these validity periods and design standards.
