This year you will see changes to the laws around managing hazardous substances in the workplace.
You have received this message as you subscribe to one or more of our email updates and may be affected by these regulation changes.
The Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations will come into force in December, aimed at reducing both immediate harm and longer-term illness caused by the work-related use of hazardous substances.
To help you stay informed, we will email interested people about some of the key areas of change and duty holder responsibility.
If you are one of the 150,000 businesses across New Zealand that manufacture, use, handle and store hazardous substances in the workplace, or transport them, we encourage you to subscribe to receive the hazardous substances email updates.
Please also forward this to others you think may be interested.
