Notifications
If someone has been seriously injured, become seriously ill, or died as a result of work – phone us on 0800 030 040 straight away. We have staff available to respond to these 24/7.

Notifications made through our online form won't be monitored between 12pm on Tuesday 24 December 2024 and 8.30am on Monday 6 January 2025.
If you’re not sure if you need to notify us, use our online notification system and we’ll respond to you after 6 January 2025.

Steve Ellis has been appointed to the New Zealand Mining Board of Examiners.
Steve is a returning member and brings with him not only a wealth of experience in the quarrying sector but also a strong passion and commitment to health and safety and training and upskilling to build capability in the extractives sector.
These changes are part of the regular cycle that all boards go through as terms end and the mix of skills of the members is reviewed and adjusted to meet requirements.
Steve is senior member of the quarry industry with a strong track record of people leadership in safety, quality, environment, and technical innovation at all levels in the industry. He has served on the Institute of Quarrying Board, including as president. Last year the Quarries Division of Stevenson’s Group, of which Mr Ellis is general manager, won the WorkSafe Chief Inspector Extractives Safety Leadership Award.
