Notifications
If someone has been seriously injured, become seriously ill, or died as a result of work – phone us on 0800 030 040 straight away. We have staff available to respond to these 24/7.

Notifications made through our online form won't be monitored between 12pm on Tuesday 24 December 2024 and 8.30am on Monday 6 January 2025.
If you’re not sure if you need to notify us, use our online notification system and we’ll respond to you after 6 January 2025.

WorkSafe has exempted Netherby Grounds Ltd (Get Wet Waikato) from compliance with regulations 15.13, 15.16 and 15.17 of the Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017.
An exemption has been granted by WorkSafe in accordance with section 220 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 to Netherby Grounds Ltd to allow two cylinders with the serial numbers (11/2934/026 and 11/2364/018) to be filled and used in New Zealand.
The exemption is made subject to the following conditions:
- This exemption is limited to the two cylinders with the serial numbers 11/2934/026, and 11/2364/018. It is not a type approval for other cylinders of similar or identical design.
- Netherby Grounds Ltd must ensure that the letters LAB7703SP and the station mark are stamped on these two cylinders in accordance with regulation 15.60.
The exemption takes effect on 4 April 2018 and expires on 4 April 2023 unless it is sooner replaced or revoked.
